Job summary

UCHealth Emergency Aurora Central in Aurora, CO is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform CT imaging and diagnostic procedures in collaboration with radiologists. This onsite PRN role focuses on quality imaging, patient safety, and adherence to department standards.

Responsibilities include reviewing orders, preparing contrast when needed, administering routine tests, and supporting patient education.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• ARRT CT registry targeted within 12 months of hire.
• BLS certification (AHA/Red Cross) before start date and valid through 60 days post hire.

Responsibilities

• Reviews patient history, orders, and labs to ensure appropriateness and educates patient about procedures.
• Prepares and administers contrast media and medications as allowed; monitors patient condition and ensures safety.
• Performs Point of Care Testing and Moderate Complexity Laboratory Testing per procedures and reports results.
• Conducts EKG procedures and routine patient care tasks as required.
• Maintains composure in fast-paced environments and exercises decisive judgement.
