Job summary

UCHealth in Aurora, CO seeks a Radiologic Technologist specializing in CT imaging. The role is on-site in the UCHealth Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion, full-time with day shifts, 80 hours per two weeks.

You will educate patients, prepare contrast and meds, manage imaging parameters, ensure safety, and review results to maintain high-quality CT scans. Requirements include graduation from an accredited radiologic technologist program, ARRT CT registration (or within 12 months), and BLS/CPR

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• Registered RT with ARRT CT registry or registry eligible with completion within 12 months.
• BLS or CPR certification to be valid through start date.

Responsibilities

• Reviews patient history, orders and scheduling; educates patient on procedures and equipment.
• Prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications as appropriate; monitors patient condition.
• Prepares equipment; selects exposure factors; ensures safety standards; performs quality control; positions patient and conducts imaging.
• Analyzes results; resolves image quality issues; transmits and reports scan results; may perform 3-D post processing.

Education

Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program

Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) with ARRT CT registry within 12 months

BLS/CPR certification (AHA/Red Cross)
