Job summary

UCHealth is seeking a CT Radiologic Technologist for the Arvada ED in Arvada, CO. This onsite, full-time position offers a flex shift and involves collaboration with radiologists and referring physicians to provide high-quality imaging services.

Responsibilities include imaging accuracy, patient education, contrast administration, POCT and laboratory testing, and routine patient care tasks. Requires ARRT CT certification within 12 months and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) and registry eligible with completion of registry in 12 months in computed tomography (CT) by the ARRT.
• BLS from AHA or Red Cross with card in-hand before start date; card valid through 60 days after hire.

Responsibilities

• Reviews patient history, orders, and labs to ensure appropriateness and educates patient on procedures.
• Prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice; monitors patient condition and adjusts as needed.
• Performs POCT and Moderate Complexity Laboratory Testing per procedures; ensures quality control and reports results.
• Conducts EKG procedures, vital assessments, and splinting assistance as required.
• Exhibits critical thinking and ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
