Job summary

UCHealth is seeking a CT Technologist for an onsite role in Colorado Springs. You will review patient history, perform CT imaging per physician orders, and monitor patient condition while administering contrast and ensuring high image quality.

The position requires ARRT CT certification or registry eligibility, BLS, and a radiologic technologist credential from an accredited program. Colorado licensure may be required; this is a full-time, day-shift opportunity with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) and registry eligible with completion of registry in 12 months in CT by ARRT; state licensure if required by law; BLS Healthcare Provider.
• 2 years of experience preferred.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Reviews patient history and initiates CT images based on physician order.
• Administers contrast media or imaging medications and monitors patient condition.
• Responds to changes in patient condition and reports appropriately.
• Implements imaging techniques to ensure image clarity and equipment function per radiology best practices (AART).
• May perform 3-D post-processing and report scan results.
