Job summary

UCHealth Emergency Green Valley Ranch in Denver, CO seeks a Radiologic Technologist for CT imaging and diagnostic radiology in collaboration with radiologists and physicians. This on-site role operates nights with a full-time schedule of 72 hours per pay period, 2 weeks.

Responsibilities include patient education, contrast administration, image optimization, POCT/Labs, EKGs and routine care. Requires ARRT CT registry within 12 months and BLS certification; onsite only with comprehensive rewards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist with CT registry or registry eligible within 12 months (ARRT).
• BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross; card in-hand before start date; valid through 60 days after hire.

Responsibilities

• Review patient history, orders and labs; educate patient on procedures and ensure understanding.
• Prepare and administer contrast media within scope; monitor patient and optimize exposure factors.
• Perform POCT and Moderate Complexity Lab Testing; enter and report scan results; ensure image quality.
• Conduct EKG, vital signs, splinting and routine patient-care tasks as required.
• Demonstrate critical thinking; work in fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
