Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Examines requests and verifies orders; refers to Radiologist before performing exam.
• Identify patients using two identifiers and explain procedures; prepare patients and document appropriately.
• Review patient history and EMRs to gather pertinent clinical data; correlate results with exam performed.
• Perform CT scanning; assist Radiologist/PA during invasive procedures; maintain sterile technique and radiation safety.
• Operate radiology computer systems, document contrast administration, and ensure proper charging of supplies.
