Job summary

Brown University Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to operate x-ray, bone density, and CT scanners, producing diagnostic images across designated body regions for geriatric, adult, and adolescent patients.

Under supervision, you will schedule services, ensure patient safety, perform quality control, document records, and assist in training staff while maintaining high standards of patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Completion of at least two years of formal training in a School of Radiologic Technology or equivalent.
• Maintains a current XR and CT license to work in the State of Rhode Island.
• Maintains ARRT and advanced level CT certification by the ARRT.

Responsibilities

• Operates x-ray, bone density and CT scanners to produce images.
• Ensures safety and comfort of patients during procedures.
• Performs QA, calibrations, and basic repairs; coordinates with service engineers as needed.
• Trains staff and students; maintains records and charge codes.
