Job summary

Brown University Health seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic procedures under the Manager Medical Imaging and Lead Technologist, delivering safe, high‑quality imaging for adult and geriatric patients.

You will schedule exams, operate fixed/portable radiographic equipment, submit images to RIS/PACS, assist with contrast administration, train staff and students, and uphold safety, compliance, and department standards. Weekend and holiday shifts may apply.

Qualifications

• Completion of AMA-approved radiologic technology program.
• Current Rhode Island license and ARRT certification.
• Current CPR certification (AHA/BLS).
• Two letters of recommendation from staff.
• Ability to care for patients across the life span.

Responsibilities

• Explain radiologic examinations to patients to reduce apprehension.
• Schedule patients and maintain efficient exam flow.
• Operate fixed and portable radiographic equipment; transport as needed.
• Process images into RIS/PACS for physician review.
• Train radiology staff and students; participate in quality assurance.
