Job summary

AdventHealth Ocala is seeking a full-time radiology professional to perform high-quality CT exams, review patient history for appropriateness, and manage IV contrast administration with strict adherence to safety guidelines.

You will collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams, maintain accurate EMR/PACS documentation, and educate patients while ensuring efficient workflow and ALARA principles.

Qualifications

• High School Grad or equivalent.
• Associate degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT examinations per orders and protocols.
• Review patient history to confirm exam appropriateness and contraindications.
• Prepare and administer IV contrast following safety guidelines.
• Position patients and ensure radiation safety (ALARA).
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare providers for imaging and continuity of care.
• Maintain clean, stocked exam rooms and routine equipment safety checks.
• Document in EMR and PACS systems in a timely manner.
• Educate patients about the exam and complete exams promptly.
