Job Summary
Purpose of Your Job Description: The primary purpose of this position is to perform all patient exams with the highest skill level, utilizing radiographic, fluoroscopic, and CT equipment and protocols to obtain diagnostic-quality images. The role includes responding promptly to service requests, ensuring safety policies for CT patients and staff are followed, and maintaining imaging quality. Responsibilities also include training new CT staff, managing staff schedules, and updating departmental policies to meet accreditation standards. The Lead CT technologist will coordinate equipment maintenance and report malfunctions to leadership.
Qualifications
Education Requirements: Bachelor of Science (or equivalent) and completion of a two-year AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program, with at least one year of clinical CT training in a JCAHO-approved facility.
Experience: Current, unencumbered license to practice in this state; ARRT registration and certification in radiology and CT. Supervisory or lead experience preferred.
