Job summary

St. Luke's Health Network, Inc. seeks a CT Technologist to assist Radiologists during invasive procedures and perform CT examinations with careful attention to patient safety and image quality.

You will identify patients and exams, document clinical history, and communicate observations to radiologists to support accurate diagnoses. The role requires ARRT registry within one year of hire and NJ DEP license, with preferred A.A.S. in Radiologic Technology and prior hospital CT experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an ARRT-recognized education program or ARRT registered.
• Advanced CT registry required within 1 year of hire date.
• Current state license (NJDEP) and ARRT registry required.

Responsibilities

• Directly assists Radiologist during all invasive procedures and performs CT scans as directed.
• Identifies patient and exam and performs diagnostic radiographic services with attention to quality.
• Communicates clinical observations during CT scans to Radiologist.
• Presents clinical history as documented to Radiologist.
• Demonstrates competency in RIS/HIS modules related to job responsibilities.
• Injects contrast for CT scans according to policy; completes patient questionnaire prior to start.
• Performs 3-D imaging functions.
• Provides educational information to patients regarding their examination.
