Job summary

St. Luke’s University Health Network is seeking a CT Scan/Radiology Technologist to perform CT examinations and assist Radiologists during invasive procedures. The role emphasizes adherence to radiation safety and accurate patient identification, with a focus on delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging.

The candidate should have ARRT CT registry, ARRT registered, and an A.A.S. in Radiologic Technology preferred, with 1 year of experience and BLS certification within three months of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an ARRT recognized education program or ARRT registered.
• Advanced CT registry required within 1 year of hire.
• Current state license (NJDEP) and ARRT registry required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Radiologist during invasive procedures and perform CT scans per Radiologist instruction.
• Identify patient and exam accurately and ensure high-quality diagnostic radiographic results.
• Communicate clinical observations to Radiologist during CT procedures.
• Present clinical history as documented to Radiologist.
• Demonstrate competency with RIS/HIS systems relevant to responsibilities.
• Inject contrast for CT scans per department policy.
• Complete patient CT questionnaire before starting the exam.
• Perform 3-D imaging functions.
• Provide patient education about the examination.
