St. Luke’s University Health Network is seeking a Radiologic Technologist specialized in CT imaging. The role involves assisting Radiologists during invasive procedures and performing CT scans and related radiographic services with attention to safety and image quality.

Qualified candidates must have ARRT registration or be ARRT registered, a NJ license, and CT registry within one year. ARRT registry and BLS are required; A.A.S.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an ARRT recognized education program, or ARRT registered.
• Advanced CT registry required within one year of hire.
• NJ candidate: ARRT registry is required.
• A.A.S. Degree in Radiologic Technology preferred.
• 1 year of experience is required; two years or more preferred.
• Current state license (NJDEP) and ARRT registration required.

Responsibilities

• Directly assists Radiologist during invasive procedures and performs CT scan examinations as directed by the Radiologist.
• Identifies patient and exam and performs diagnostic radiographic services with care and evaluates image quality.
• Communicates clinical observations during CT scans to Radiologist.
• Presents clinical history as recorded to Radiologist.
• Demonstrates competency in RIS/HIS modules relevant to the job.
• Injects contrast for CT scans per department policy and reviews CT questionnaire prior to start.
• Performs 3-D imaging functions and educates patient about the examination.
