Job summary

Emerus is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform CT and X-ray imaging with oversight from physicians and nurses. The role requires maintaining imaging records, assisting with patient care, and traveling to multiple facility locations as needed.

Ideal candidates hold AMA-approved Radiology Technology credentials, ARRT radiography certification, and BLS, with CT certification preferred. English fluency and ER experience are advantageous.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED, required.
• Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiology Technology, required.
• Associate’s degree in Radiology, preferred.
• Certified radiologic technologist as required by the practicing state.
• ARRT in radiography required; CT certification preferred with marketspecific exceptions.
• Current BLS certification through AHA, required.
• 2+ years radiologic/imaging experience, preferred.
• 1+ years CT experience, preferred.
• 1+ years ER experience, preferred.
• Proficiency with imaging equipment, hardware/software and PACS.
• English fluency, written and oral.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance and supportive patient care to assist physicians, nurses and staff.
• Operate and maintain imaging department equipment including X-Ray, CT, CR reader, and PACS.
• Perform imaging exams per policies and notify physician on duty of results.
• Conduct basic clinical procedures under direction of physician/nurse on duty.
• Maintain documentation and records in paper and electronic formats.
• Travel to all facility locations as required.
• Attend staff meetings and perform additional duties as assigned.
