Job summary

Northshore Home Health Care is seeking a CT Technologist to perform computed tomography procedures, ensure diagnostic quality, and maintain patient safety. You will operate imaging equipment, prepare patients, verify orders, and document findings in a collaborative healthcare setting.

The ideal candidate has ARRT-R and ARRT-CT certifications, plus at least 1 year of radiology experience, with a focus on safety, patient comfort, and timely image finalization.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum of 1 year radiology experience.
• Certifications: ARRT-R (Radiography), ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography), BLS (Basic Life Support).

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures following departmental guidelines.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and adjust techniques as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and report equipment issues.
• Obtain clinical history, verify orders, and ensure patient identification.
• Communicate procedures clearly, address patient questions, and promote comfort.
• Position patients correctly and apply safety measures.
• Review images for diagnostic quality and retake if necessary.
• Complete accurate documentation and ensure proper image finalization.
• Monitor patient condition, respond to emergencies, and support safety protocols.
• Organize workflows, support operational efficiency, and ensure regulatory compliance.
