Job summary

Alpha Home Health and Hospice in Georgia seeks a CT Technologist to deliver high-quality imaging while ensuring patient safety. You will perform CT procedures, operate imaging equipment, and document results in RIS/PACS, following ALARA principles.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures following department protocols.
• Operate imaging equipment independently while minimizing radiation exposure (ALARA).
• Maintain cleanliness and functionality of rooms and equipment.
• Obtain clinical history, verify patient identity, and explain procedures.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety; provide age-appropriate care.
• Administer contrast, position patients, and review images for diagnostic acceptability.
• Document procedures accurately and finalize studies in RIS/PACS systems.
• Monitor patient condition, respond to emergencies, and support department operations.

Role:

CT Technologist responsible for delivering high-quality imaging and ensuring patient safety at a healthcare facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures following department protocols, capturing diagnostic images with technical expertise.
• Operate imaging equipment independently, maintaining diagnostic quality while minimizing radiation exposure (ALARA).
• Maintain cleanliness and functionality of rooms and equipment, reporting issues promptly.
• Obtain clinical history, verify patient identity, and explain procedures to reduce anxiety.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety; provide age-appropriate care.
• Administer contrast, position patients, and review images for diagnostic acceptability.
• Document procedures accurately and finalize studies in RIS/PACS systems.
• Monitor patient condition, respond to emergencies, and support department operations.
