Job summary

Trident Health, a HCA Healthcare hospital system, is seeking a Weekends Only CT Technologist for Trident Medical Center. The role performs CT diagnostic procedures, operates CT equipment and ensures high-quality imaging for radiologists.

The position includes a weekend schedule (Fri–Sun), a sign-on bonus up to $15,000, relocation assistance, full benefits, and opportunities for growth within the health system.

Qualifications

• ARRT required upon hire
• SCRQSA required upon hire
• BLS – Healthcare provider on hire or within 30 days of hire from AHA or ARC
• CT registry preferred, but not required, within 6 months of orientation

Responsibilities

• Perform CT diagnostic procedures as outlined by the radiologist
• Operate diagnostic CT equipment and verify images
• Prepare room with necessary equipment and supplies for the procedure
• Assist in the medical imaging department's operations including clerical, scheduling, inventory and transportation as needed
• Supervise students if assigned by the area supervisor

Job Summary and Qualifications

The CT Technologist performscomputerized tomography diagnostic procedures as outlined by the radiologist. Operates diagnostic equipment,verifiesimagesand prepares room with necessary equipment and supplies for the procedure. Technologist isresponsible forassistingin the primary mission of the medical imaging department by ensuring that proper diagnostic information is provided through the production ofhigh-qualityCT scans. Other dutiesinclude, butare not limited to; clerical, scheduling, diagnostic imaging, transportation, ordering supplies, inventory,cleaningand anythingdeemednecessary by the medical imaging management team. Assistin diagnostic work area as needed. Job may include direct supervision of students at the discretion of the area supervisor. Employeemust have the same licensure or have completed the sametraining tosatisfy the requirements of the discipline of the student. Direct supervisionmeansthe primary caregiver is readily available to the student throughout the shift.

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

• CT registrypreferred,but notrequired,within 6 months of departmental orientation completion date, at which point SCRQSA ARRT will be obtained.

Education:

• Graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technologyand/orARRT/ CNMT.
