Job summary

HCA Healthcare Trident Hospital in Charleston, SC, seeks a CT Technologist for night shifts (Mon-Thu, 9:30 PM–7:00 AM). The role performs CT procedures, operates imaging equipment, ensures high-quality scans, and supports the radiology team. Eligible candidates must meet ARRT, SCRQSA, and BLS requirements; CT registration preferred.

• Assists in clerical, scheduling, and supply tasks within radiology.
• Supervises students if assigned by area supervisor.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The CT Technologist performscomputerized tomography diagnostic procedures as outlined by the radiologist. Operates diagnostic equipment,verifiesimagesand prepares room with necessary equipment and supplies for the procedure. Technologist isresponsible forassistingin the primary mission of the medical imaging department by ensuring that proper diagnostic information is provided through the production ofhigh-qualityCT scans. Other dutiesinclude, butare not limited to; clerical, scheduling, diagnostic imaging, transportation, ordering supplies, inventory,cleaningand anythingdeemednecessary by the medical imaging management team. Assistin diagnostic work area as needed. Job may include direct supervision of students at the discretion of the area supervisor. Employeemust have the same licensure or have completed the sametraining tosatisfy the requirements of the discipline of the student. Direct supervisionmeansthe primary caregiver is readily available to the student throughout the shift.

• BLS – Healthcare provider on hire or within30 daysof hire from American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC)
• CT registrypreferred,but notrequired,within 6 months of departmental orientation completion date, at which point SCRQSA ARRT will be obtained.

Education:

• Graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technologyand/orARRT/ CNMT.
