Job summary

HCA Healthcare Trident Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT diagnostic procedures under radiologist guidance. You will operate CT equipment, prepare the room with required supplies, and ensure high-quality scans are produced to support accurate diagnoses.

The role involves assisting in imaging department operations, clerical tasks, scheduling, and potential supervision of students as directed by the area supervisor. Licensure requirements are expected upon hire.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The CT Technologist performscomputerized tomography diagnostic procedures as outlined by the radiologist. Operates diagnostic equipment,verifiesimagesand prepares room with necessary equipment and supplies for the procedure. Technologist isresponsible forassistingin the primary mission of the medical imaging department by ensuring that proper diagnostic information is provided through the production ofhigh-qualityCT scans. Other dutiesinclude, butare not limited to; clerical, scheduling, diagnostic imaging, transportation, ordering supplies, inventory,cleaningand anythingdeemednecessary by the medical imaging management team. Assistin diagnostic work area as needed. Job may include direct supervision of students at the discretion of the area supervisor. Employeemust have the same licensure or have completed the sametraining tosatisfy the requirements of the discipline of the student. Direct supervisionmeansthe primary caregiver is readily available to the student throughout the shift.

Position Requirements:

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

• ARRTrequiredupon hire
• SCRQSArequiredupon hire
• BLS – Healthcare provider on hire from American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC)
• CT registry required within 6 months of departmental orientation completion date, at which point SCRQSA ARRT will be obtained.

Education:

• Graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technologyand/orARRT/ CNMT.
