Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have current BCLS certification.
• 2 years prior Computed Tomography and/or Radiographer experience preferred.
• Membership in related professional organization preferred.
• ARRT Certification(C) in Computed Tomography preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs all Computed Tomography exams.
• Performs quality control procedures as required by the manufacturer.
• Evaluates all orders, verifies with radiologist if needed, and ensures correct exam.
• Screens patients for contraindications for oral or IV contrast.
• Interacts with hospital staff/nursing regarding patient care and conflicts, aiding resolutions.
