South Texas Radiology Imaging Centers is seeking a CT Scan Technologist to perform diagnostic CT procedures with emphasis on patient safety and image quality. The role includes operating CT systems, preparing rooms, and ensuring proper documentation and contrast administration under physician guidance.

Ideal candidates will have an accredited radiology program background, CMRT certification, and ARRT CT registry; CT experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiology technology program.
• CMRT – Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist by the Texas Medical Board.
• ARRT registry in CT modality is preferred.
• Two years CT Technologist experience; Associate Degree in Radiology Technology is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform CT procedures with focus on minimizing radiation exposure while maximizing image quality.
• Demonstrate competency in CT operation, positioning, and technical factors.
• Consent patients for metals and contrast and obtain surgical history prior to exams.
• Document procedures in information systems and record STAT reads as required.
• Maintain cleanliness and inventory of the lab, restock supplies and ensure readiness for the next shift.
• Follow ACR QC requirements and internal policies.
