Job summary

Wellstar North Fulton Hospital in Roswell, Georgia seeks a CT Technologist to deliver high‑quality imaging and a compassionate patient experience. You will work with radiology colleagues to support accurate diagnoses and patient care in a busy imaging department.

Responsibilities include performing CT exams per protocol, adjusting technique for diagnostic quality while applying ALARA, ensuring patient safety and comfort, documenting studies in RIS/PACS, and equipment upkeep.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.
• Certifications: ARRT-R (Radiography).
• Certifications: ARRT-CT.
• Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association).

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines; capture quality diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging equipment independently; adjust techniques to maintain diagnostic quality at the lowest reasonable dose (ALARA).
• Clean, disinfect, and maintain rooms/equipment per infection control schedules; report issues.
• Obtain clinical history; verify orders and patient IDs before exams.
• Explain procedures using AIDET; address questions and ease patient anxiety.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety throughout visits.
• Perform exams and administer contrast per protocol; use venipuncture and sterile technique.
• Position patients and apply markers; review images and finalize studies in RIS/PACS.
