Job summary

North Carolina Baptist Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT imaging and support radiology services in the Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center department. The role requires ARRT radiology certification, CT registry within 12 months, and BLS; a $15,000 sign-on bonus is offered to eligible candidates.

You will verify orders, prepare patients, administer IV contrast, and ensure radiation safety while collaborating with Radiologists and nursing staff during exams and emergencies.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT Radiology Certification or NMTCB Nuclear Medicine certification is required, CT registry within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Verify orders with Radiologist before performing each exam.
• Prepare patients and explain procedures, identify to two patient identifiers.
• Perform CT scanning and assist Radiologist/PA during procedures.
• Administer IV contrast per departmental protocol and document usage.
• Maintain sterile technique and radiation safety; report equipment issues.
• Respond to emergencies, support code blue procedures when needed.
