Job summary

Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center is seeking a CT Radiologic Technologist to perform CT imaging, verify orders, and assist Radiologists as part of the radiology team.

Responsibilities include patient preparation, documenting procedures, and maintaining safety protocols. CT registry and ARRT/NMTCB credentials are required within one year of hire, along with BLS certification. This on-site role supports a busy clinical environment with rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of growth and development principles applicable to patient populations.
• ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB in Nuclear Medicine; advanced CT registry within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Examines requests and verifies orders on each assigned patient.
• Performs CT scanning and collaborates with Radiologist/PA during procedures.
• Assists in patient preparation and consent, with clear explanations of procedures.
• Maintains patient safety and adheres to radiation safety standards.
• Reviews patient history and correlates with exam being performed.
• Operates radiology computer system to enter orders and document contrast usage.
