Job summary

North Carolina Baptist Hospital is seeking a CT technologist to perform CT imaging and related radiologic procedures. The role requires ARRT Radiology certification, NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine, and CT registry within one year, plus BLS. The candidate will collaborate with Radiology staff and ensure patient safety during imaging.

The position offers a sign-on bonus and comprehensive credentialing support. Expect full-time hours with shift variety, including potential call-back and weekend

Qualifications

• Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development and applies them to the care of patients.
• Ability to assist and communicate with patients during CT procedures.
• Maintains patient safety and radiation protection standards.

Responsibilities

• Review orders and verify details with Radiologist before exams.
• Perform CT scanning under Radiologist supervision and document results.
• Prepare and explain procedures to patients, obtain histories, and ensure proper patient identification.
