The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Hospital Authority is seeking a CT Radiologic Technologist to perform CT scans, assess image quality, and support radiologists in invasive procedures at Atrium Health facilities in North Carolina. ARRT or NMTCB certification is required with CT registry within one year of hire; a sign-on bonus may be available.

Qualifikationen

• Graduation from ARRT-recognized Radiologic or NMTCB program.
• ARRT Radiology or NMTCB Nuclear Medicine with CT registry required within one year.
• Basic life support (BLS) certification.

Aufgaben

• Verify orders with Radiologist before performing the exam.
• Prepare patient with a full explanation and obtain consent.
• Interview patient to collect complete medical history.
• Administer IV contrast per departmental protocol.
• Evaluate image quality and consult Radiologist when needed.
• Perform CT scans and assist Radiologist/PA during invasive procedures.
• Maintain sterile technique and adhere to radiation safety practices.
• Rotate shifts including on-call, holidays, and weekends.
• Assist in code blue procedures during emergencies.
• Document contrast administration in MAR.
