Job summary

Watertown Regional Medical Center seeks a CT Technologist responsible for performing diagnostic CT imaging procedures to aid in patient diagnosis and treatment. The role involves patient preparation, positioning, and ensuring the accurate acquisition of CT images while adhering to safety protocols.

Applicants must have an ARRT certification in Radiography and Computed Tomography, along with at least 1-2 years of experience in a hospital or acute care setting.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiography (R) required.
• ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT) required.
• Licensed as a Radiologic Technologist as required by the State.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Minimum of 1-2 years experience in diagnostic imaging preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols.
• Prepare and administer contrast media under the direction of a radiologist.
• Maintain accurate patient records and document procedures.
• Assist in quality control procedures and equipment calibration.
