Job summary

Watertown Regional Medical Center, part of ScionHealth, is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT imaging in a high-quality acute-care environment. The role involves patient prep, positioning, and accurate imaging under radiation safety guidelines.

The ideal candidate has ARRT radiography certification, 1–3 years CT experience, and strong cross-sectional anatomy knowledge. Collaboration with radiologists and ongoing education are expected in this fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Postsecondary graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology is required.
• ARRT Radiography Certification and state licensing where required (TX, CA, FL and KY) Upon Hire (Required).
• 1-3 years of diagnostic imaging experience with CT preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and CT protocols.
• Ability to operate CT equipment and related software systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging procedures following established protocols while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Verify patient identity and obtain relevant clinical history before procedures.
• Prepare and administer contrast media under radiologist supervision.
• Operate CT imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
• Maintain accurate patient records in the EMR and document procedures.
• Adhere to radiation safety standards to minimize exposure.
