Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare Northwest is seeking a CT Technologist to prepare patients for CT imaging and position them to obtain precise diagnostic images. You will operate CT equipment and ensure patient safety during procedures.

Responsibilities include explaining the process to patients, meeting competency standards, and maintaining compliance with state licensure and ARRT registrations. This role supports a busy radiology department and requires teamwork and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Radiological Technology
• Current ARRT (R) or ARRT (N) registry required
• Current ARRT (CT) registry required
• Current Medical Radiologic Technologist license issued by Texas Dept of State Health Services required
• Current BLS certification required

Job Summary and Qualifications

POSITION SUMMARY:

CT Technologist prepare patients for diagnostic procedures by explaining the process and positioning patients to correctly capture the images requested by a physician. Techs operate CT equipment, which produces cross-sectional images of patients’ bones, organs and tissue that are used to diagnose medical conditions.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Radiological Technology
• Current ARRT (R) or ARRT (N) registry required
• Current ARRT (CT) registry required
• Current Medical Radiologic Technologist license issued by Texas Dept of State Health Services required
• Current BLS certification required

PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS:

• Demonstrates the ability to perform specific competencies as listed on the Competency Validation Checklist(s).
• Meets mutually agreed upon performance goals/objectives established annually as listed on the Performance Evaluation.
