Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare Northwest is seeking a CT Technologist to prepare patients for diagnostic procedures and operate CT equipment under physician directions. You will position patients and acquire cross-sectional images used for diagnosis, ensuring safety and image quality.

The role requires ARRT (R), Texas radiologic technologist license, and BLS certification, with commitment to professional standards and teamwork in a busy hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Radiological Technology.
• Current ARRT (R) certification required.
• Current Medical Radiologic Technologist license issued by Texas Dept of State Health Services required.
• Current BLS certification required.

Job Summary and Qualifications

POSITION SUMMARY:

CT Technologist prepare patients for diagnostic procedures by explaining the process and positioning patients to correctly capture the images requested by a physician. Techs operate CT equipment, which produces cross-sectional images of patients’ bones, organs and tissue that are used to diagnose medical conditions.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Radiological Technology
• Current ARRT (R) required
• Current Medical Radiologic Technologist license issued by Texas Dept of State Health Services required
• Current BLS certification required
