Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare Northwest is seeking a CT Technologist- Non Registered to join our radiology team in Houston. You will prepare patients, explain the CT procedure, and operate CT equipment to capture high‑quality diagnostic images for physicians.

Must be a graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, have an ARRT (R) license and Texas state radiologic technologist license, and hold a current BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Radiological Technology.
• Current ARRT (R) required.
• Current Medical Radiologic Technologist license issued by Texas Dept of State Health Services required.
• Current BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for diagnostic procedures by explaining the process and positioning to accurately capture images.
• Operate CT equipment to produce cross‑sectional images used for diagnosis.

Job Summary And Qualifications

POSITION SUMMARY:
CT Technologist prepare patients for diagnostic procedures by explaining the process and positioning patients to correctly capture the images requested by a physician. Techs operate CT equipment, which produces cross-sectional images of patients’ bones, organs and tissue that are used to diagnose medical conditions.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Radiological Technology
• Current ARRT (R) required
• Current Medical Radiologic Technologist license issued by Texas Dept of State Health Services required
• Current BLS certification required

PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS:

• Demonstrates the ability to perform specific competencies as listed on the Competency Validation Checklist(s).
• Meets mutually agreed upon performance goals/objectives established annually as listed on the Performance Evaluation.
