Job summary

Wellstar Health System seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform a variety of imaging procedures, including CT and radiography, with emphasis on patient safety, accuracy, and comfort. You will prepare patients, operate equipment, and collaborate with radiologists to deliver quality studies.

The role requires ARRT certifications in Radiography and CT, BLS certification, and at least 1 year of radiology experience, with strong communication and teamwork skills to support departmental needs.

Qualifications

• Accredited Program Radiologic Technology
• ARRT Radiography and CT certifications
• BLS certification (or ARC-BLS)
• Experience: Minimum 1 year in Radiology; CT experience preferred
• Strong communication and customer service skills; ability to work under pressure

Responsibilities

• Verify clinician orders and obtain patient history for procedures.
• Prepare and position patient; ensure safety, privacy and comfort.
• Operate CT and radiography equipment; assist with contrast administration as needed.
• Review images and ensure clinically acceptable results; relay findings to radiologist.
• Maintain equipment, ensure infection control, and restock supplies as required.
