Job summary

Wellstar Health System seeks a Radiologic Technologist for CT imaging. The role requires setting up equipment, positioning patients, and performing exams per procedure while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

The incumbent will verify patient identity, manage contrast when needed, and collaborate with radiologists. Minimum education is an accredited Radiologic Technology program; ARRT certifications are required on hire.

Qualifications

• Accredited program in Radiologic Technology required.
• ARRT-R and ARRT-CT certifications required at hire.
• Minimum 1 year radiology experience; CT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform department exams according to procedures and ensure patient safety.
• Set up equipment and position patients for imaging studies.
• Verify patient identity and manage contrast administration when needed.
• Review images and assist radiologists; respond to emergencies.
• Maintain equipment, cleanliness, and infection control standards.
