Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform CT and radiographic procedures with independence, accuracy, and patient care. The role requires preparing patients, positioning for exams, and maintaining safety and image quality in a dynamic radiology department.

Candidates should have an Accredited Radiologic Technology program and at least 1 year of Radiology experience, with CT experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills for frequent interaction with physicians, patients and staff.
• Must be able to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced radiology department.
• Demonstrates professional customer service and teamwork under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of radiologic procedures with independence and initiative.
• Prepare and position patients, set up equipment, and ensure safety and image quality.
• Verify orders, maintain patient privacy, and document procedures in RIS/PACS.
