Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking a Radiologic Technologist specialized in CT imaging to join our diagnostic team. You will compile patient history, verify orders, and position patients to acquire high-quality CT scans while maintaining patient comfort and privacy.

The role requires strong communication, teamwork, and adherence to safety protocols. Applicants should have ARRT-R and ARRT-CT credentials, an accredited radiologic technology program, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Accredited Radiologic Technology program completed.
• ARRT-R and ARRT-CT certifications are required.
• BLS certification (ARC or equivalent) is required; instructor level preferred.
• CT experience or exposure is expected; minimum 1 year in radiology.
• Strong communication and customer service skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Verify clinician orders and gather patient history for procedures.
• Position patients and operate CT equipment to obtain quality images.
• Maintain patient privacy, comfort and safety during exams.
• Respond to emergencies and assist other technologists as needed.
• Document procedures and ensure proper data in RIS/PACS.
