Job summary

Wellstar is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform CT imaging procedures and support patient care in a busy radiology department. You will ensure patient safety, accuracy of positioning, and high-quality images suitable for radiologist review.

The role requires ARRT Radiography and CT certifications, BLS certification, and the ability to work flexibly with department needs. Training and equipment proficiency including CT consoles and PACS are essential for daily operations.

Qualifications

• Eligible for ARRT Radiography and CT certifications.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and perform CT imaging examinations per department procedures.
• Verify patient identity and procedure details using standard protocols.
• Operate CT equipment and ensure image quality meets radiologist standards.
• Maintain sterile technique and infection control throughout procedures.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff.
