Job summary

Heart Hospital of Austin is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT procedures under physician orders. The role involves cross-training into other modalities and contributing to quality control and equipment maintenance.

As part of HCA Healthcare, you will join a leading cardiovascular care team, deliver safe, compassionate patient care, and participate in timely CT exams with collaboration across radiology, nursing, and lab staff.

Qualifications

• Associate degree and graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program.
• Preferred: at least 1 year experience as a CT Technologist.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures in a timely manner and document information.
• Coordinate care with CT technologists, physicians, nurses, and staff.
• Evaluate patient condition to adequately perform CT exams.
• Explain procedures to patients and ensure cooperation.
• Provide direct patient care and a safe environment.
• Ensure equipment and supplies are available and safely utilized.
• Perform Point of Care procedures following policy and QC standards.
