Job summary

Heart Hospital of Austin is seeking a CT Technologist PRN to perform diagnostic CT procedures with care and accuracy. You will work under the Laboratory department and may cross-train into other modalities while ensuring safe, compassionate patient interactions.

The role requires an associate degree in radiologic technology, an ARRT RT(R) and CT(R) license, Texas licensure, and CPR/BLS within 30 days of employment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited radiologic technology program.
• Minimum 1 year CT technologist experience preferred.
• Current Texas Medical Board Radiologic Technologist license.
• ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist RT(R) and CT(R) licenses.
• BLS/CPR certification within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures promptly; document information and notify the physician and care staff.
• Coordinate with CT staff, physicians, nurses, and allied health for patient care.
• Evaluate patient condition to adequately perform exams.
• Explain procedures to patients and clarify cooperation expectations.
• Provide direct patient care in a safe, comforting environment.
• Ensure equipment and supplies are available and safely used.
