The position requires MRT certification by the Texas Medical Board, ARRT CT, and BLS, with preferred experience of at least one year as a CT Tech. Excellent team coordination and patient-flow management are essential for efficient imaging workflows.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of human anatomy and disease processes relevant to radiology.
• Ability to verify orders match requisitions before exams.
• Follow exam protocols and safety standards.
• Administer contrast materials using proper technique.
• Enter charges accurately in the radiology information system (RIS).
• Correlate patient history with procedures for radiologist review.
• Manage patient flow to prioritize and optimize exam efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans and radiographs per ARRT, ACR, and Texas Medical Board standards.
• Demonstrate proficiency in anatomy, radiation protection, and technique-specific protocols.
• Verify orders and requisitions prior to examinations.
• Administer contrast media following established safety protocols.
• Document and code charges in RIS accurately.
• Correlate clinical history with procedures for the radiologist.
• Coordinate patient flow to maximize throughput and safety.
