Job summary

Wellstar North Fulton Hospital in Roswell, GA, seeks a CT Technologist to deliver high-quality CT imaging and support a compassionate patient experience. The CT Technologist collaborates with a radiology team to perform procedures safely, explain steps to patients using AIDET, and ensure accurate documentation in RIS/PACS.

The role requires ARRT-CT and ARRT-R credentials, BLS, and a minimum of 1 year radiology experience; geared toward maintaining diagnostic quality while minimizing dose.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and ALARA principles.
• Operate imaging/radiographic equipment safely and obtain diagnostic-quality images.
• Explain procedures and prep to patients using AIDET; address questions and reduce anxiety.
• Prepare, administer, and monitor contrast using sterile techniques.
• Document studies in RIS/PACS and manage transfers/retrieval as needed.
• Maintain rooms/equipment, infection control, and restock as required.
