Wellstar North Fulton Hospital in Roswell, GA is seeking a CT Technologist to deliver high-quality CT imaging and a supportive patient experience. You will perform CT procedures, maintain ALARA principles, and ensure accurate documentation in RIS/PACS.

Required are ARRT-R, ARRT-CT, and BLS certifications with at least 1 year radiology experience. The position offers competitive hourly pay, shift differential incentives, and a comprehensive benefits program.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program is required.
• ARRT-R certification in Radiography is required.
• ARRT-CT certification in Computed Tomography is required.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association is required.

Responsabilités

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and maintain diagnostic image quality.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and dose-optimally (ALARA).
• Clean, disinfect, and maintain rooms and equipment per infection control protocols.
• Verify patient identity, orders, and clinical history before exams.
• Explain procedures, prep, and post-care clearly using AIDET; alleviate patient anxiety.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety throughout visits.
• Administer contrast per protocol and perform venipuncture as needed.
• Position patients and apply markers, shielding, and immobilization as indicated.
• Review images for diagnostic acceptability and re-image if necessary.
• Document studies accurately and finalize in RIS/PACS; handle transfers and prior studies as needed.
• Monitor patient condition and respond to emergencies; restock as required.
• Organize daily workflows to support department operations and regulatory compliance.
