Job summary

Wellstar North Fulton Hospital in Roswell, Georgia is seeking a CT Technologist to deliver safe, high-quality imaging and provide a compassionate patient experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.
• ARRT-R (Radiography)
• ARRT-CT – ARRT Computed Tomography
• BLS (Basic Life Support) – American Heart Association

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and maintain diagnostic image quality.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and maintain ALARA doses.
• Disinfect rooms and equipment; report any issues promptly.
• Obtain clinical history, screen contraindications, verify orders and patient identifiers.
• Explain procedures and prep to reduce patient anxiety using AIDET.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety; provide age-appropriate care.
• Perform exams and administer contrast using venipuncture and sterile technique when applicable.
• Position patients and apply markers, shielding, immobilization as indicated.
• Review images for diagnostic acceptability and repeat if needed.
• Document accurately in RIS/PACS and manage transfers.
• Monitor patient condition and respond to emergencies; restock crash cart.
• Organize daily workflows and support department flow.
• Assist with regulatory compliance and communicate with supervisor.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent
