Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital - Tallahassee in Tallahassee, FL is seeking a CT Technologist on a PRN/per-diem basis. The role requires CT experience and ARRT/CMRT certification with active state licensure.

Qualifications

• Must maintain Continuing Education in licensure fields.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the patient for diagnostic procedures by explaining the process and creating a comfortable environment.
• Use proper patient positioning and technical factors to produce quality diagnostic studies.
• Operate a CT scanner to produce cross-sectional images of patient anatomy.
• Administer contrast media as directed by referring physician.
• Monitor patients for adverse drug events and report accordingly.
• Perform routine quality assurance on equipment and identify basic malfunctions.
• Perform clerical duties as needed, such as answering phones.

Schedule: PRN/per-diem

Compensation : $40.00/hr.
