Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital - Orlando South in Orlando, FL is seeking a CT Technologist to deliver diagnostic CT imaging with patient-centered care. You will position patients, operate CT equipment, administer contrast as directed, and ensure safety and quality standards.

The role requires 2+ years as a Registered Radiologic Technologist, ARRT or CMRT certification, BLS, and ongoing licensure/compliance. Competitive compensation ranges from $27 to $46 per hour with a $5,000 sign-on bonus for

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience as a Registered Radiologic Technologist.
• At least 1 year experience as a CT Technologist.
• Current ARRT or CMRT certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Must stay current with Continuing Education.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the patient for diagnostic procedures by explaining the process and creating a comfortable environment.
• Use proper patient positioning and technical factors to produce quality diagnostic studies.
• Operate a CT scanner to produce cross-sectional images of anatomy.
• Administer contrast media as directed by referring physician.
• Monitor the patient for adverse drug events and report accordingly.
• Perform routine quality assurance on equipment and identify basic malfunctions.
• Perform clerical duties as needed, such as answering phones.

Minimum Qualifications

• At least 2 years experience as a Registered Radiologic Technologist and hold current state license (as required).
• At least 1 year experience as a CT Technologist (not including school).
• Must have ARRT or CMRT certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Must be current with Continuing Education in all fields of licensure.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience operating facility-specific equipment desirable.
