Job summary

Corewell Health Dearborn Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT exams with precision while adhering to radiation safety and ALARA principles.

The role requires an Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology from a JRCERT-accredited program, ARRT CRT certification, and BLS on hire. External hires may receive a sign-on bonus up to $12,500.

Part-time evening shifts are available, with a collaborative team and strong commitment to patient care.

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree from a JRCERT-accredited Radiography program.
  • 1 year of relevant experience.
  • 1-3 years’ experience beyond staff radiographer level.
  • CRT-Radiologic Technologist Registration (ARRT) preferred.
  • CRT-CT (ARDMS) on hire; excludes pre-2008 hires.
  • 1 year required CRT-BLS (AHA) on hire or ARC BLS.
  • Must be eligible for CRT-BLS on hire.

Responsibilities

  • Perform accurate diagnostic CT exams following regulations and ALARA principles.
  • Be a vital part of the radiology team delivering patient care.

Scope of Work

As a CT Technologist with Corewell Health, you can turn detailed images into life-changing diagnoses. You'll be responsible for performing accurate diagnostic CT exams while following regulations and ALARA principles of radiation protection. You'll be a vital part of our team, making a real difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

Qualifications Required
  • Associate's Degree Graduate of Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) Accredited Radiography program.
  • 1 year of relevant experience
  • 1-3 years’ experience beyond staff radiographer level.
  • Preferred CRT-Radiologic Technologist Registration - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist
  • Upon Hire required CRT-Computerized Tomography (CT) - ARDMS American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography Excludes team members hired prior to 2008.
  • 1 Year required CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association Upon Hire required
  • Or CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross Upon Hire required
