Job summary

Lee’s Summit Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a PRN CT Technologist to perform routine and specialized imaging using ionizing radiation.

Responsibilities include positioning patients, starting IVs for contrast, ensuring image quality, providing post-procedure instructions, maintaining a clean CT room, and adhering to radiation safety standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-accredited program with radiology technology certificate or degree.
• CT technologist registration (CT) within 1 year of start date.
• ARRT radiography registration within 1 year of start date.
• BCLS certification within 30 days of start date.
• Two years of experience preferred, with additional CT training.

Responsibilities

• Position patients on the CT table and assist as needed.
• Start IVs for contrast when required.
• Assess image quality and adjust as needed.
• Provide post-procedure instructions to patients.
• Prepare and clean the CT room between patients using aseptic technique.

Job Summary

The CT Technologist performs routine and specialized imaging procedures with ionizing radiation, following professional and departmental standards. The role requires high‑quality image acquisition to support physician diagnosis and treatment.

Responsibilities

• Compassionately assist and position patients on the CT table.
• Start IVs for contrast injection when required.
• Assess image quality and make adjustments as needed.
• Provide post‑procedure instructions to patients.
• Prepare and clean the CT room between patients, using aseptic technique.
• Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited AMA program with a certificate or degree in Radiology Technology.
• Registered Computerized Tomography Technician (CT) obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
• Registered Radiographer (ARRT) obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
• BCLS certification required within 30 days of start date.
• Two years of experience preferred, with additional CT training.
