Job summary

A healthcare provider in Weatherford, Texas, is seeking an Imaging CT Technologist PRN. In this role, you will assist patients, perform CT scans, and ensure image quality while adhering to safety procedures. Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited AMA program in Radiology Technology preferred.
• Must be Registered ARRT with RT(R)(CT); CT registration required.
• BCLS required upon hire.
• Two years of experience preferred with additional training in CT scanning.
• Must have the ability to report to the facility within 45 minutes of call back.
• Must be able to work rotating weekends and holidays.

Overview

Imaging CT Technologist PRN at Medical City Healthcare.

What you will do in this role

• You will compassionately assist and position patients on the CT table.
• You will start IVs for contrast injection when necessary.
• You will assess image quality and make adjustments when necessary.
• You will release patients with proper post-procedure instructions.
• You will turn over and prepare the room using aseptic technique between patients and clean / sterilize equipment.
• You will follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.

What qualifications you will need

• Prefer Graduate of an accredited AMA program with a certificate or prefer degree in Radiology Technology.
• Must be Registered ARRT with RT(R)(CT); CT registration required.
• BCLS required upon hire.
• Two years of experience preferred with additional training in CT scanning.
• On call required and must have the ability to report to the facility within 45 minutes of call back.
• Must be able to work rotating weekends and holidays.
