Job summary

Henrico, Parham & Retreat Doctors' Hospitals is looking for a CT Technologist to operate CT equipment and produce cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs, and tissues. In this role, you will prepare patients for procedures, explain the process, and ensure optimal imaging.

You will be responsible for accurately interpreting scanning instructions, preparing the CT scan equipment, and assisting with patient care. The position requires specific certifications and vocational training in CT.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography) certification.
• Vocational School Graduate (CT training).

Responsibilities

• Accurately interpret a physician’s scanning instructions and administer contrast materials.
• Prepare and operate the CT scan equipment.
• Assist the radiologist in administering medication and contrast agents, performing biopsies and all types of patient care.
• Prepare examination rooms for CT scans and invasive procedures.
• Monitor inventory of supplies during room rotation and maintain room cleanliness.
