Job summary

Overland Park Regional Medical Center is hiring a CT Technologist Multimodality PRN. The role involves performing specialized imaging procedures and ensuring patient comfort during scans. Candidates should have graduation from an accredited program in Radiology Technology, and certifications in CT and ARRT within the first year of employment. Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited AMA program with a certificate or a degree in Radiology Technology.
• Registered Computerized Tomography Technician (CT) must be obtained within 1 year.
• Registered Radiographer (ARRT) must be obtained within 1 year.
• BCLS required within 30 days of start date.
• Two years of experience preferred with additional training in CT scanning.
• On Call Required, with ability to report within 30 minutes.

Responsibilities

• Compassionately assist and position patients on the CT table.
• Start IVs for contrast injection when necessary.
• Assess image quality and make adjustments when necessary.
• Release patients with proper post-procedure instructions.
• Turn over and prepare room using aseptic technique between patients.
• Clean and sterilize equipment following safety procedures.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The CT Technologist performs routine and specialized imaging procedures in the application of ionizing radiation in accordance with the established professional and departmental standards. The CT Tech provides high-quality computerized tomography images used by physicians for diagnosis and treatment.

Responsibilities

• Compassionately assist and position patients on the CT table.
• Start IVs for contrast injection when necessary.
• Assess image quality and make adjustments when necessary.
• Release patients with proper post-procedure instructions.
• Turn over and prepare room using aseptic technique between patients and clean/sterilize equipment.
• Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.

Qualifications

• Prefer Graduate of an accredited AMA program with a certificate or a degree in Radiology Technology.
• Registered Computerized Tomography Technician (CT) must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
• Registered Radiographer (ARRT) must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
• BCLS required within 30 days of start date.
• Two years of experience preferred with additional training in CT scanning.
• On Call Required and must have the ability to report to the facility within 30 minutes of call back.
