Advocate Health is seeking a CT Technologist I to perform CT procedures according to departmental protocols. You will operate CT scanners and associated equipment with proficiency and ensure patient safety throughout the exam.

Responsibilities include verifying orders, preparing patients, acquiring and reviewing CT images, and coordinating with Radiologists. Candidates must have a two-year AMA program in Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology and ARRT/NMTCB certifications with CPR current.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an accredited two-year AMA program in Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology.
• ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine and ARRT CT certification within one year of hire.
• Current CPR certification required.

• Assists in CT scanning and related procedures under Radiologist guidance.
• Maintains proper patient identification and prepares patients for exams.
• Ensures proper sterile technique and equipment setup for CT procedures.
• Evaluates image quality and consults Radiologist when needed.
• Operates radiology computer systems to enter orders and document procedures.
• Follows radiation safety standards to protect patients and staff.
• Rotates shifts and adheres to attendance policies as required.
• Maintains clean and organized work area and stocks supplies.
